About THROTTLE — the daily car guessing game
THROTTLE is a free daily car guessing game inspired by Wordle. Every day there is one mystery car, and you have 8 guesses to figure out what it is. After each guess, colour-coded tiles reveal how close you are across six attributes: make, country of origin, body style, era, horsepower and engine. The game includes a fresh daily puzzle, an Unlimited mode for endless play, and a database of more than 850 cars from 69 manufacturers spanning Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Type the name of any car and submit it as a guess. Each tile is scored against the mystery car:
Green means an exact match. Yellow means you are close — for example the same country of origin, a make from the same country, or a horsepower and era within range. Grey means you are wrong. The horsepower and era tiles also display up or down arrows to tell you whether the answer is higher or lower than your guess. Use these clues to narrow things down and identify the mystery car within your 8 tries. Stuck? You can use a hint, and once you finish you can share your result as an emoji grid.
